This is the story of how a a beautiful Red Sox loving girl working in a bakery fell in love with a Personal Trainer who is a Mets fan. It’s funny how someone who makes desserts for a living could end up with someone who tells everyone not to eat desserts. But there was no stopping their attraction for each other even though their choice in sports teams could not be more different. Being from Massachusetts Danie is a die hard Red Sox and Patriots fan. So when it comes time for football season they agree to disagree as Nelson is a Giants fan. But there’s always laughter and fun when they get together. When they first started dating he told her “The day I put a Patriots hat on will be the day I put a ring on your finger.” So as the sun was rising on Cocoa beach, with cup of coffee in hand and a Patriots hat on his head, he knelt down on one knee. When it came time for the wedding Danie wanted to elope but Nelson wanted the big wedding and he put his foot down. Danie likes to refer to him as the “groomzilla” although we don’t think he at all acted like that! LOL
Their day was filled with sunflowers designed by the always amazing Raining Roses. The girls all wore matching Converse in yellow and blue and the guys had black. Because of rain we had to move the ceremony inside but it was still beautiful! The cake was defiantly the statement of the night. When you saw it from one side walking in you thought it was just another beautiful white wedding cake. But then as you saw the other side you were surprised by the Marvel Characters coming out of the cake! Truly a masterpiece!! Congratulations to both of you! We wish you continued laughter and joy as you embark on many journeys together as husband and wife!
