For a lot of our 2021 couples, the excitement on their wedding day is unlike those in the past. Most of them have had their wedding date changed at least once and had to be flexible and accommodating. So when their big day finally arrives the joy is exuding from their heart to all around! That was the case when it came to Becca and Michael’s epic wedding at Omni Champions Gate in Orlando, Florida!
We have been looking forward to their grand event for quite some time. With the help of Lisa Lyons Events, they took to blending their two family’s cultures to make a wedding all their own. The day started with a touching Vietnamese Tea Ceremony. We always love capturing this tradition as it dates back hundreds of years. With beautiful Ao Dai’s, Becca and Michael served tea to their family members after Michael asked for Becca’s hand in marriage. Then Becca is adorned with jewels from the moms. Everyone then celebrated with some traditional Vietnamese food and treats!
Following the tea ceremony was an outfit change to a traditional American white wedding gown and veil. The ceremony was held in one of the ballrooms surrounded by gorgeous flower arrangments by Lee Forrest Design and a huppah. Their guests were seated in the round so everyone had a view from all sides. It took your breath away when Becca walked into the room, with her parents by her side, and walked down the flower-adorned aisle to the love of her life! Michael’s brother-in-law lead the touching and personal ceremony, adding in Michael’s Jewish heritage, and ending with the Jewish tradition of breaking the glass.
After seeing the ballroom for the ceremony you knew the reception was going to be breathtaking….and it was! Not only were the flowers and decor elegant and classy, but the lighting by Soundwave Entertainment brought that finishing touch! And just wait until you see how the cake was displayed! Plus Becca changed into her THIRD dress of the day and it did not disappoint! The guests never left the dance floor and Becca and Michael danced in each other’s arms all night! A blast of confetti was the perfect way to end a fabulous day! Congratulations guys and we were so honored to have been a part of it!
