I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph the retirement celebration of Bill Eissele. His amazing students from the last 25 years came together to celebrate the incredible legacy he built among hundreds of students who have passed through his theatre department at Lake Mary High School. The celebration was split into acts separating the years he has run the department, counting backwards. They ended with the years 1992-1998. It was fun to watch so many alumni come together and perform roles they haven’t done in 25 years and see their old classmates and friends. There were performances and moments where students spoke recounting funny stories of the past and the impact he had on their life. To see what so many of his students accomplished after graduating was inspiring! He truly touched so many lives, encouraging them and inspiring them to be more than they ever thought they could be. And not only did they celebrate Mr Eissele, but also his amazing wife Susan who was the vocal coach for many productions. Teachers like Mr Eissele are a true blessing and what help shape and mold the future through bringing out the best in kids and pushing them toward a bright future!!
