They met sophomore year of high school, where they were both on the school tennis team and had several classes together. They developed crushes on each other, but being young and awkward teenagers, they couldn’t quite figure out how to talk to each other and went their separate ways. Two years later, being high school seniors with a little more experience, they decided to give it another shot. They went out to the courts to practice tennis before finals and spent more time talking than actually playing tennis.  They have been together ever since.  And in honor of how they met, Connor even proposed on the tennis courts years later!
