Carolyn and John have one of those relationships you hope for any two people. When you watch their kids with them you know it’s even more perfect. Mutual friends introduced them and they have been friends for many years. While John was volunteering to teach a kids Sunday school class Carolyn’s daughter was in they got to know each other even more. They took the kids out on play dates and after a while John asked if Carolyn wanted to have coffee, just he two of them. All Carolyn could do was stare and ask “really?” And the rest is history.
They choose the incredibly unique and beautiful Historic Sydonie Mansion for their wedding. Growing up in central Florida I don’t know how I never knew this place excited. It’s been recently revitalized with even more renovations going on. It truly is a magical place that anyone looking to get married at should check out! Everywhere you turn is a perfect photo opportunity! You must check them out and go see the Holiday tours they have going on now!
Carolyn and John had their ceremony on the back lawn under the arch beautiful decorated with flowers. During the ceremony they included the kids. Carolyn gave John’s kids each a necklace with vows while John did the same with Carolyn’s daughter. So many tears were shed by all 5 of them….and most of their friends and family. Then they put together a unity puzzle in which each of them had a puzzle piece and when all put together made their perfect family puzzle.
Everyone danced the night away to the Bay Kings band and even enjoyed an ice cream bar at the end of the night. The photo booth was a HUGE hit as it had a line most of the night. We felt honored to be a part of this special union with two incredible people.To see their photo blog post click HERE
