How They Met
Christine and Emily were introduced by a mutual friend in Downtown Orlando. The day they met was actually both of their birthdays, 8-14! They became fast friends and the rest is history. Their officiant for the wedding is the same person who introduced them those years ago.
The Wedding
With a sophisticated barn look The Mulberry at New Smyrna Beach was the perfect fit for their union. The wedding party consisted all their brothers and sisters along with the cute little nieces. They wanted their closest friends to also be a part of the day so the titled them “The Golden Girls” and each of them wore gold and were a part of the photos. Even their dog Oscar was a part, playing the ring bearer. This was our first time at The Mulberry at NSB and what a beautiful new venue it is! We especially loved the dreamy woods in the back….I’m sure we could shoot there all day! The reception was held in the barn with long farm tables for dinner. After dinner Christine surprised Emily with a song she had written for her. When she had proposed to Emily she asked her if it was how she had imagined she would do it. Emily replied that she always thought she would have written a song for her. Little did she know Christine was in the process of writing that song but didn’t have it finished. She saved it for their wedding night and I’m sure there wasn’t a dry eye in the room.
