How They Met
Raven and Bob met while working together in Universal Creative at Universal Studios Orlando. They had been friends for a couple of years before sparks started to fly while working together on the creation of the new ride at Universal, Skull Island: Reign of Kong. While there are many things they don’t share (he loves cars, she loves video games, he loves…cars, she loves books, etc) there are many that they do (their dogs, cooking together, traveling, good humor). Bob proposed last November by gathering a lot of our friends to hide together in the Discovery Trails area of Animal Kingdom and took Raven by surprise when he got down on one knee!
The Wedding
When looking for a venue they knew they didn’t want a standard ballroom for their big day. After stumbling upon the new wedding venue, Hub 925, they knew it was the perfect fit for them. It’s an urban loft event venue with different rooms to accommodate their different needs for the big day. Bob and Raven also knew they didn’t want a traditional wedding party. Instead they included their 3 dogs, the loves of their lives! For this they hired Fairy Tail Pet Care to make sure they were taken care of all day. The ceremony was held under the lights in the Grand Central room and afterward opened up into the Sojourn Lounge for their reception with Midnight Mayhem rocking the night away while their guests partied! They included a hedge wall with their names in lights and bundt cakes below it as an adorable decoration. And oh boy were the cakes amazing from Nothing Bundt Cake!! Congratulations to both of you!!
