On the day Joshua and Stephanie met he joked about marring her. Little did he know that would come true years later! They met at Nova Southeastern University in Ft Lauderdale. Joshua had dreamed of moving to Florida from his hometown of Pennsylvania after a trip with a friend in high school. He made it a reality when transferring his junior year and then meeting Stephanie. Stephanie comes from a long line law enforcement employees and she is now a DNA Crime Laboratory Analyst while Joshua is an officer with Florida Fish and Wildlife Conversation.
A nautical themed wedding was the perfect fit for these two. They even told their guests to wear fishing or Hawaiian shirts and sunglasses as they enjoyed their lakeside beach wedding at the beautiful Paradise Cove Orlando. They handmade a lot of the decorations, making them more personal, fun and creative. There was custom made corn hole boards, giant jingo, hand painted directional signs, treasure card box, glass vial escort cards holders with sand from their town of Naples, freestanding sea shell cross for the ceremony and a treasure chest ring box. With so many special touches it was a wonderful day.
And even when the storms rolled in an tried to put a damper on the party that didn’t stop a thing. And they were willing to stand out on the beach while we capture the amazing lighting show that was going on in the distance!
