Sometimes I get to photograph family.  And sometimes the clouds roll in and the waters calm and we have the most perfect summer weather for Suzanne and Wes’ maternity session.  Wes is my brother and Suzanne is pregnant with their 3rd little girl.  And can I tell you just how excited I am to meet my little niece!  As a family they love being on the water and especially sailing so when it came to this maternity shoot I knew we had to do something different from the past shoots.  This time I knew it had to be on the water, there had to be a canoe and a sailboat, and the rest I would just play by ear.  I’m so excited with how it all turned out.  Especially because the water on Lake Dora at this time of day is usually very chopping and it’s crazy windy.  And somehow we managed to avoid the alligators eating at twilight while wading in the water!  LOL  This sweet little girl should be here soon….!
