Vanessa and Anthony wanted to celebrate 10 years of being married in a big way. So big they decided to travel all the way from Australia to Disney! Vanessa spent a long time planning her perfect Disney vow renewal and all we can say is WOW! There was no detail left behind. After hearing about their amazing wedding in Australia 10 years ago you would think there’s no way to top that. But they sure set out to try!
With their sweet little girls in tow they made their way Disney with their closest friends who came from all over the world. Because she wanted something different for their ceremony she landed on House of Blues Orlando. This was our first wedding / vow renewal there and we were blown away. I hope more future couples consider using this venue. From the green room, to the stage and the amazing lighting tech, to the house that is a virtual playground for any photographer it’s truly perfect! Vanessa and Anthony, along with their girls, had a small and sweet vow renewal and then sat down in the audience with the rest of the guests. They were then serenaded by the amazing acapella group, Right on Key. If you ever frequent Orlando’s Disney Springs you might have seen them perform. They were incredible and they even pulled all the kids up on stage to dance with them.
Everyone then headed over to a private room at House of Blues for an amazing Brunch…and the brisket out of this world! We were able to capture of few more photos of them outside and then everyone took a little break before their evening reception.
Since Vanessa and Anthony are both foodies they knew they had to have the dinner reception at California Grill located at the top of Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Before dinner we snuck out onto the terrace for a few photos and then in for the fun. Because Vanessa and Anthony have 2 little girls and a slew of little guests they had a small table with balloons, coloring books, and even a Disney castle with figurines for the kids to play with. Before dinner Rapunzel made a guest appearance and the kids were in awe!! Then dinner was served and guests were spoiled with a stunning 5 course dinner. The kids even had their own “sushi dessert!” But that wasn’t all! Donald, Daisy, Mickey and Minnie came to join in on the fun! The joy in the kids faces (AND the adults) was priceless! As Mickey and Minnie left it was time for Magic Kingdom fireworks! All the kids each got their own Disney blanket to keep warm outside while they watched. When we all came back in their was Mickey ice cream and Micky and Minnie ears for everyone and Charles Miles had the whole group dancing. There was even a celebration for all the January birthdays, including Anthony, and they all got their own birthday cake! Before the night was over there was one more special guest, Gaston from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast! He was a HIT! Several of the little girls even serenaded him. It was just adorable. As guests left to head back to their hotel room there was milk and cookies in to-go boxes. Didn’t I tell you there was no detail left out! And Carol with Disney Fairy Tale Weddings made sure that everything went off just perfectly!
Thank you guys so much for trusting us to capture your day. We felt like we had known you for a lifetime!
